Market Leader: Advanced Business English Course

The course structure follows a 12-week 48 hour program concentrating on business conversation, grammar and situational learning strategies. The main objective is to facilitate comprehension and fluent oral expression by encouraging the acquisition of enriched vocabulary as well as critical listening skills, text analysis and business writing.

The students will discuss and analyze the following topics: Employment trends, problem solving, proposal writing, resolving conflict, business ethics, management, financial performance, the language of trends, giving presentations, negotiating sales: terms and conditions, managing consultants, mission statements, online business, project management, teleconferencing and multinational teamwork.

Writing a well drafted, hard-hitting and dynamic letter always attracts the eye of a potential employer. These skills will add the edge you need to get your foot in the door for that initial interview!


D.- WORKSHOPS FOR INTENSIVE LANGUAGE SKILLS

The Workshops for intensive language skills are focused on conversation and real-life learning experiences. They elaborate on comprehension and oral expression skills to facilitate a smooth level of fluency. This is mainly achieved through enriched vocabulary and frequently used idiomatic expressions:

  • CONVERSATION AND PRONUNCIATION WORKSHOP
    This workshop will enable you to speak French, English or Spanish with confidence and ease.

  • GRAMMAR AND WRITING WORKSHOP
    This workshop will allow you to write well and concisely. Grammar and spelling need not be "misunderstood secrets" to you any longer thanks to our methods of explanation and logical reasoning.

  • VOCABULARY WORKSHOP
    This workshop will allow you to improve and enrich your vocabulary according to your needs. Your overall level of fluency will improve greatly.

In addition to courses in English, French and Spanish, Horizon Language Institute also offers instruction in nine other languages: Japanese, Arabic, Mandarin, Greek, Polish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian.
