Accommodation is extremely important when considering studying abroad. Therefore, Horizon Language Institute offers to help our international students find affordable accommodation while studying with us.
There are three options for accommodation for you to choose the one that better suits your needs:

Horizon Language Institute offers you the opportunity to live with a host family within a 30-minute metro/bus ride from the school. Students who are learning French will stay with a French-speaking family, and those learning English will live with an English-speaking family. You will be provided with a private bedroom and two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).
Our host families are interviewed and the rooms are inspected to ensure that you will have a clean and healthy environment to live in during your stay.

If you are 18 years old or older, you can also stay in a residence, which offers a private bedroom and shared kitchen and bathroom. Students are responsible for their own meals and cleaning up.

In some cases, Horizon Language Institute may arrange for a furnished apartment with one or two bedrooms. However, due to low availability of rental apartments in Montreal, we do not guarantee this service. If you are interested in this option, you should register at least 3 months prior to arrival.
