The Horizon Language Institute offers you a wide range of training courses and programs. Each course is available in six levels: Beginner 1 and Beginner 2, Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2 and Advanced 1 and Advanced 2.

Enrollment is possible all year long, since every new session begins on the first Monday of every month. Our flexibility allows for courses to be available at a time, which is most convenient for you.
Our FREE placement tests enable you to clearly see your linguistic needs and where we can build upon your fluency level. We use this base to personalize your program, and are always able to propose the route that will take you farthest.
Our main programs, which are available in French, English or Spanish, are formulated in the following way:
1.- GENERAL LANGUAGE COURSES
This program which lasts between 3 and 6 months (depending on learner entry level) focuses on the development of interactive speech proficiency. The other important linguistic skills: reading, writing and listening are seamlessly integrated.
Our method of active communication study allows beginners to adapt to different situations which they will face every day very quickly.
You will learn how to speak and to express yourselves correctly on various subjects by using more than 3000 words and word combinations. You will also be able to use the indicative, the subjunctive and the conditional tenses, the impersonal forms, the passive voice, the negative, the interrogative and the exclamatory sentence effectively.
At the advanced level of this program, you will learn how to write on a higher level that could open additional doors to you. This includes: the Curriculum vitae, job applications, cover letters and attention getting emails.
2.- ADVANCED LANGUAGE COURSES: SPECIALIZATION
These language courses are specifically designed for students and adults alike who have already acquired a fundamental knowledge of the chosen language but need to branch out and polish up their skills. All courses are available in English, French or Spanish.
3.- INTENSIVE LANGUAGE-SKILL WORKSHOPS
The Intensive Language-skill workshops are offered in small groups and are focused mainly on conversation and dynamic learning strategies. They facilitate comprehension and oral expression by encouraging the acquisition of enriched vocabulary and frequently used idiomatic expressions.
Additionally, we offer the services of our computer lab in order to further practice the language you are learning through comprehensive multimedia activities.
